The view south from Santa Engracia towards the Terradets gorge
Casa Mauri is situated in the village of Santa Engracia in the foothills of the Pyrenees above the town of Tremp. The village is located on a rock outcrop offering spectacular views of the Tremp valley to the south with its two lakes and the Montsec range of mountains and to the north the high Pyrenees, snow-capped for much of the year. Also on the top of the pinnacle, above Casa Mauri, there is a Romanesque watch tower and a set of dinosaur footprints!
The Cottage
Casa Mauri has been renovated to provide spacious and modern accommodation whilst maintaining a traditional appearance of beamed ceilings and a contrast of pointed stone and white- painted plastered walls.
My aim is to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible by providing a good range of facilities and equipment as well as information about the region and a helping hand or advice if needed.
